Centre Timings Survey
-
·
As announced in July a survey of devotees and
parents was conducted to find out a time to best
suit everyone who use the centre on Sunday and
how we can improve the centre activities so that
as many people as possible can benefit from and
take part in the prayers, vedam, group
devotional singing, study circles, service and
ladies wing activities and SSE.
·
So we have new timings from next week with
sevadals coming in earlier from the previous
time of 8.30am to 8am to set up so we can still
start for 9am which has been negotiated with
SVC.
·
Extra activities for adults and children will be
held from 10.30 to 12pm (when we need to
vacate).
·
A monthly calendar will be given to show all the
activities scheduled on the 1st
Sunday.
·
Regular centre announcements will now be on
display every week outside near the information
desk so please have a look each week for further
details.
·
Also you may have noticed over the summer we
have not lit a candle or incense for Aarti. We
are no longer allowed to light a candle or use
joss/incense sticks on the premises of SVC so
therefore we are using electric lights and
offering Aarti with flowers at his divine lotus
feet.

Then Invite Brother Veeru to talk re: National
Gurupurnima.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Sai Ram!
We know that our beloved Swami lives in our
hearts. Regardless of the chaos in the world and
the tumult that assails us from time to time, He
is always there. He is always enlightening us,
loving us, fulfilling whatever each of us might
need to realize our Divine Selves.
At this moment, there is a new challenge.
Newspapers have been making unwarranted
allegations against the Sri Sathya Sai Central
Trust of India. In so doing they have assailed
the Great Works, The Divine Works, accomplished
by our Beloved, Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust has been
responsible for managing all of the expenses
entailed in providing free healthcare,
education, water, and food for multitudes of
poor people for decades. The Trust has been
responsible for managing the maintenance of the
ashram for the accommodation of multitudes of
spiritual pilgrims for decades. This is true and
evident for all to see.
These Great Works have been recognized and
lauded repeatedly over the years by
administrations of political leaders, supreme
court justices, heads of state governing all of
India, including the current leaders of India.
This is true and evident for all to see.
Donations of Sai devotees from India and from
all over the world have sponsored these
remarkable humanitarian efforts without any
solicitation whatsoever. All who are involved in
the management of these great works are
devotees, spiritual seekers. They have managed
the affairs of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust
effectively and transparently. This also is true
and evident for all to see.
Is it possible that the newspaper reporters have
more knowledge and greater wisdom than the men
who have led their country for so many years?
No, it is not possible! What then is the basis
for the outrageous allegations and
misinterpretations being perpetrated so
irresponsibly?
Let us all recognize with respect, gratitude,
and Sai Love the men who have managed the Sri
Sathya Sai Central Trust. They were selected by
Swami, Himself. They have remained close by His
Side for decades living austerely as His
devotees and performing their duties faithfully
and effectively. They are resolved to continue
their management of the Sri Sathya Sai
Institutions in India and Prasanthi Nilayam in
the same exemplary manner in which they were run
under the Divine Guidance of our Beloved Swami.
Swami’s Divine Guidance will always be
accessible to everyone. We have merely to seek
and we will find.
Let us all pray that Swami’s Love and Inner
Guidance will enable all of us to rise above
these mundane problems and not be distracted
from our spiritual quest.
Lovingly in the Service of Sai,
Michael Goldstein
Announcements 5 June 2011
a)Update from Prasanthi…
Bhagawan has always said that He is not the body
but the manifestation of the Supreme
Consciousness that pervades all creation and
beyond. He also impressed upon us that we were
also the images of the Divine. His Mission on
this earth was mainly to enable humanity to
realise its inherent Divinity.
The Supreme Consciousness that Bhagawan
personified is eternal. Bhagawan is therefore
with us, now and forever. Prasanthi Nilayam is
the place which the Divine chose to be His abode
and it will continue to be so.
It is therefore obligatory on us to ensure that
all programmes and events that used to take
place at Prasanthi Nilayam are continued just as
before. Starting from Guru Purnima this year,
all festivals as per the normal calendar of
events will continue. These will also
include programmes like the Grama Seva, Dasara,
University Convocation, Birthday Celebrations,
Sports, etc.
Other events like the Prasanthi Seva, Parthi
Yatra, pilgrimage programmes, various
conferences and training programmes, Bal Vikas
and cultural programmes, etc., will also
continue as before.
The daily Darshan schedule has also been set in
place and is being faithfully observed.
Bhagawan is with us and will always be with us,
not only at Prasanthi Nilayam, but everywhere
every moment of our life. We have to live our
life under His unbounded love and protection and
continued guidance. He has shown us the path and
we have to faithfully tread it to ultimately
achieve union with Him.
Jai Sai Ram!
The Trustees and the Council of Management of
Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust

SWAMI’S HEALTH
There has been official announcements made on
Radio Sai’s website and the recent update is
that Swami continues to be stable and there is
slight improvement in the overall condition of
His health.
Swami has said on 5 Oct 2003, Vijayadashami,
Do not identify Me with this physical body. I am
not Dehaswarupa (body), I am Dehi (the
indweller). There is no difference between you
and Me. I have all powers in Me.
I am always healthy. Not only today, till 96
years I will be like this. I can do whatever I
want. But those who go by the physical form
think that Swami is ageing. Youth and old age
are related to the body and not to Me. I am
always the same. I can do anything. However,
this body is yours. This has come for your sake.
You can change it the way you like. If you think
that Swami is strong and healthy, yes so He is.
So we will also chant 108 Gayatri Mantras for
Swami’s well being this week before the Vibuthi
mantra.
